Methodology
How every price, calorie count and stand listing on this site is produced, checked and corrected. If you want to know whether a number here is measured or modelled, this is the page that answers it.
The one rule: every number on this site either traces to a page we can point at, or it carries the word estimated next to it. There is no third category. If a figure cannot be traced and cannot be honestly estimated, it does not get published.
How menu data is verified
The drink list starts from the official 7 Brew board. Each of the 207 drink pages carries its own price ladder (Small 16 oz, Medium 24 oz, Large 32 oz) compiled from published stand-level prices, averaged per drink per size. When a drink appears on the board with a new build, its page is added with that build. When a drink leaves the board, the page is updated to say so rather than silently deleted, because a dead link helps nobody and a wrong price helps less.
Location data comes from the official stand directory: street address, ZIP and drive-thru hours for each of the 846 stands across 38 states, plus a city page for each of the 691 markets. Hours are the stand's published hours. Holiday hours change without notice, which is why every location page tells you to call ahead in December.
Price and calorie sourcing rule
Prices are compiled, not quoted. Stands set their own prices, so a Blondie in Rogers, Arkansas and a Blondie in Miami will not match to the cent. We average published stand prices per drink per size and label the result an estimate on the page where it appears. That is the honest midpoint: close enough to plan an order, never presented as the number on your window.
Calories and caffeine are modelled, because 7 Brew does not publish per-drink nutrition. The model starts from the drink build (base plus syrups), the cup size, and comparable published drinks, and the result is labelled estimated next to the number, not in a footnote. Sugar follows the same rule. Anything we cannot model honestly is left blank rather than filled with a guess.
Update SOP and date rules
Pages change only when the underlying facts change. A price moves, a stand opens or closes, a seasonal drink rotates in: the affected pages are updated and their visible verification date moves with them. Pages with no substantial change keep their old date. We do not bump dates to look fresh, and we do not stamp every page with today's date after a site-wide edit. The sitemap carries a last-modified value only for pages that truly changed.
There is no fixed re-check calendar claimed here, because a calendar we cannot evidence would be decoration. In practice, verification passes run when the board changes (new seasonal lineup, price moves) and when readers report errors. The seasonal calendar and featured drinks pages move the most; evergreen drink pages move the least.
Correction policy
Corrections are the cheapest verification this site has. If you spot a wrong price, a closed stand or a drink that left the board, the contact page says exactly what to send. Include the drink or stand name, the city or state, what you saw at the window, and the date. Confirmed corrections are fixed directly on the affected page, and the page's verification date updates to reflect it. We do not keep a public correction log, but every fix lands in the page you reported, which is where it matters.
What this site never does
- Never claims to be official. This is an unofficial fan guide, not affiliated with 7 Brew Coffee. The official board is at 7brew.com.
- Never invents authors. There is no editorial team, no bylines, no reviewer personas. The process above is the entire credential.
- Never invents numbers. A price, calorie count or date that cannot be traced to a source or honestly estimated is removed, not hedged.
- Never presents a range as a fact. "Around $5.38" means the average came out near $5.38 across stands, and the page says so.
- Never fakes freshness. Dates move only with substance. A page that says October was changed in October.
